It is a curious habit of many International Schools in Asia, especially South East Asia to name themselves as: British School, American School and so on. The Asian craving for a pseudo western cultural identity is a peculiar cultural disease.
I had earlier explained that Binary fusion is making the meaning of the word neither a privilege nor marginal. Here I use the word “colored” to mean white, black and brown. So instead of connoting Asianess to the word colored and binary marginalizing it with the privileged white, colored emerges as a syncretic fusion of Asianess, Africaness, Europeaness , Australianess, Newzleandness, and Americanenss.
